Job summary

Aesthetic Dental in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a versatile Dental Assistant for full-time or part-time roles focused on pediatric care. You will assist dentists, take X-rays, manage front desk functions, and ensure a positive patient experience for children and families.

Qualifications include NY X-ray certification, dental assisting credentialing, and strong communication. Eaglesoft experience is a plus, bilingual skills are a plus, and training is provided to grow within the team.

Qualifications

Dental Assistant certification required or pursuing.
NY X-ray certification required.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with children.
Experience with Eaglesoft software preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during exams and procedures
Take and process dental X-rays
Prepare and sterilize instruments (autoclave, chemical vapor)
Provide chairside assistance in pediatric procedures
Maintain infection control protocols
Schedule appointments and manage front desk
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques
Enter data in Eaglesoft software
Provide compassionate patient interactions
