Job summary

Medidentalcare is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join their rapidly growing team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of dental assisting experience, be organized, professional, and comfortable in a busy dental office environment. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining a clean clinical area.

The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to multitask effectively. X-ray experience is required, and familiarity with Dentrix is a plus.

Qualifications

mediDental care is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our rapidly growing teamin New York City. We are looking for someone with 2–3 years of dental assistingexperience who is reliable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paceddental office.

mediDental care is not a typical dental office. We are a New York State Article 28 facility built around anintegrated care model that brings dental and medical care together under one roof. Our mission is simple:make healthcare more convenient, more connected, and more accessible for the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for supporting the dentist and clinical team with daily patientcare, including:

  • Assisting the dentist during exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Preparing treatment rooms and setting up instruments
  • Taking and processing dental X-rays
  • Sterilizing instruments and following infection control protocols
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
  • Reviewing patient charts and preparing for scheduled appointments
  • Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
  • Restocking supplies and keeping operatories ready throughout the day
  • Communicating clearly with the dentist, front desk, and other team members
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of dental assisting experience required
  • Experience working in a dental office is a must
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control standards
  • X-ray experience required
  • Dentrix experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work in a busy office environment
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required
