University Modern Dentistry in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You’ll assist the dentist, maintain a clean and sterile operatory, and capture x‑rays as needed.

You will work with a caring team using modern dental technology, enjoy opportunities for CE and career growth, and contribute to a community‑focused practice that values patients for life.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency
• Maintain a clean, sterile, cheerful environment and take x‑rays and intra-oral photos as appropriate
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories per guidelines and regulations

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$17.25-$24.00 / Hourly
