Job summary

West Chester Modern Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver the Perfect Patient Experience®. You will support clinicians, gain patient commitment for the best treatment with urgency, and contribute to a clean, cheerful, and sterile environment.

You will perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate, sterilize instruments, and ensure compliance with ADA guidelines and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant or equivalent role is beneficial.
• Familiarity with clinical environments and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines and/state regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$17.25-$24.00 / Hourly
