Westbank Dentistry in Harvey is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and support dentists, maintain a welcoming, sterile environment, and help deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You’ll gain valuable experience while providing patient-centered care alongside a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant is beneficial, supporting clinicians in a fast-paced practice.
• Ability to assist the dentist to enhance patient comfort and treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with ADA and regulations.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$17.25-$24.00 / Hourly
