Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Facility Services Compliance Coordinator to monitor, audit, and enforce wage, hour, and employment standards. You will liaise with HR, legal, and project teams, review payroll classifications, and conduct on-site employee interviews to verify proper pay and classification.

The role requires strong integrity, communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a fast-paced environment. On-site work in Austin, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field preferred not required.
• 3 years minimum experience in a compliance role.
• Experience conducting audits and investigations related to labor compliance.
• High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.

Position Summary

The Facility Services Compliance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and enforcing compliance with wage, hour, and employment standards to protect both the company and its workforce.

Role and Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for any labor compliance policies and provide corrective actions
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions
• Collaborate with human resources, legal, and project management teams to address and resolve compliance issues
• Conduct on-site interviews with employees to verify they are being paid correctly and classified properly
• Ensure proper craft classifications are reflected in payroll reporting
• Will collaborate closely with internal teams and contractors to implement labor compliance programs and resolve any identified issues promptly

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field preferred not required.
• 3 years minimum experience working in a compliance role.
• Experience conducting audits and investigations related to labor compliance.

The current base salary range for this role is between $84,000 - $135,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
