Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Facility Services Compliance Coordinator to monitor, audit, and enforce wage, hour, and employment standards across the organization. You will act as the main liaison for labor compliance policies and drive corrective actions with clear documentation.

You will collaborate with HR, legal, and project teams to investigate issues, conduct on-site interviews to verify pay and classifications, and ensure payroll reflects accurate craft classifications.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (HR, Business, Labor Relations) and practical knowledge of wage and hour regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years in a compliance role with audits or investigations.
• Demonstrates high integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.

Position Summary

The Facility Services Compliance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and enforcing compliance with wage, hour, and employment standards to protect both the company and its workforce.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Act as primary point of contact for any labor compliance policies and provide corrective actions
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions
• Collaborate with human resources, legal, and project management teams to address and resolve compliance issues
• Conducting on-site interviews with employees to verify they are being paid correctly and classified properly.
• Ensure proper craft classifications are reflected in payroll reporting
• Will collaborate closely with internal teams and contractors to implement labor compliance programs and resolve any identified issues promptly

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field preferred not required.
• 3 years minimum experience working in a compliance role.
• Experience conducting audits and investigations related to labor compliance.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of legal, risk management, and industry-specific regulations.
• Self-motivated and strong at motivating others.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to assess situations and set priorities.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Strong critical thinking skills; Ability to recognize third and fourth order effects of a catalyst event.
• Skilled in MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Flexible, Adaptable and team oriented.

• Familiar with Customer Relations, SCM, and PMP concepts

The current base salary range for this role is between $84,000 - $135,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
