Our client, a nationwide metal manufacturer, in Methuen, MA, is hiring a Press Brake Mechanic. You will set up and operate a CNC press brake, read blueprints, and ensure precise bends to specification.

With 3+ years of CNC press brake experience, you will monitor machine performance, adjust speeds/feeds, and maintain quality output. You will inspect finished parts for defects, keep operations running smoothly, and ensure the line is ready for the next production step in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze blueprints and knowledge of Manufacturing Equipment.
• Aptitude for math, problem-solving and computer skills.
• 3+ years’ experience using a CNC Press Brake.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts and tools from metal or other materials using a press brake, a CNC machine that makes precision bends, punches, or cuts into material.
• Read blueprints for the finished product, adjust the machine to control speed, material feed and bend path, and ensure settings are correct for quality output.
• Ensure machines operate at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, are well-maintained, and perform periodic checks on output.
• Inspect finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next production step.
