Job summary

R-Tech Tool & Machine is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate production machines, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering drawings. The role requires problem solving to verify machine function and proper tooling installation, with strong emphasis on cleanliness and organization of the work area.

The candidate will read blueprints, adjust tooling, and maintain tolerances while using MRP systems to track job status and clock in/out.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years related experience and/or training.
• Machining experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines.
• Inspect parts against engineering prints to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Calculate tool feeds and speeds; select tools and holders.
• Use the MRP Network to clock in/out and track job progress.
