Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney in Maryland is seeking kind, compassionate CNAs and GNAs to join our caregiver family. The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and monitoring client health, with a focus on safe transfers using a Hoyer lift.

The position is part-time, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, starting Oct 19. Must have CPR/First Aid, valid CNA license, driver's license, reliable transportation, and good

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Current CNA license required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow care plans and assessments.
• Must provide medical clearance including TB test.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, transfers).
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Assist with ambulation.
• Monitor BP and glucose levels.

Skills

Looking to staff a part-time caregiver for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The position is available to start on October 19. The client uses a Hoyer lift, so experience with safe transfers is preferred.

Qualifications
