A home care services provider in Derwood, MD is eager to hire a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Responsibilities include providing various personal care services for seniors. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in a similar setting and must be CNA/GNA certified in Maryland. Qualifications

Base pay range

$16.00/yr - $16.00/yr

Responsibilities

• From basic companion care (which includes, but is not limited to light housekeeping, sitter care, transportation, meal preparation, etc.) to more integral personal care (which includes, but is not limited to incontinence care, transferring, dressing and bathing, etc.), Caregivers provide a wide range of services.
• Caregivers may work a variety of shifts, from 1-16 hours, over weekends, at night, in the morning, etc.

Qualifications

• At least One (1) year of experience working with seniors in a home setting or Assisted Living
• Spanish Speaking with proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
• Two job references required
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must pass a drug test
• CNA/GNA in the state of Maryland
• CPR and 1st Aid certifications
• Must have a valid driver's license, be able to provide transportation and have a clean driving record
