Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Experienced Professional, Civil Engineer for our Albuquerque office to support transportation infrastructure projects across New Mexico. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
• Engineer in Training Certification (EIT).
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, processes and permitting.
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design and construction management; rehabilitation and new design.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads or similar tools.
• Ability to coordinate with agency regulations and understand requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks related to design of roadways, intersections, pedestrian facilities and traffic improvements.
• Prepare plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Assist with reports and analyses to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Attend client meetings and assist in preparation for presentations to clients and the public.
• Assist in project management activities, including input on budgets, scheduling, and coordination of tasks.
• Collaborate with staff-level engineers and provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
• Support business development initiatives.
