gpac is seeking an experienced CDL Over the Road Driver Recruiter for our on-site Greenville, SC team. You will recruit, screen, and hire Class A CDL/OTR drivers, managing candidates from first contact through hire, while aligning with DOT regulations and company needs.

The role emphasizes sourcing through multiple channels, interviewing, verifying backgrounds, and maintaining strong driver relationships. On-site presence is required for success in this market.

Qualificações

Are you an "EXPERIENCED" CDL Driver Recruiter who knows how to find, qualify, and hire great OTR drivers?

I’m working with a well-established transportation company that is looking for an experienced recruiter to join their team.

This is not an entry-level recruiting position. They need someone who understands the trucking industry, knows where to find qualified Class A CDL drivers, and can take a driver from initial contact through the hiring process.

What You'll Be Doing

• Recruit and hire Class A CDL/OTR drivers - Develop and execute effective driver recruiting strategies - Source candidates through multiple channels, including job fairs and direct recruiting - Conduct interviews, screenings, background checks, and required verifications - Maintain strong communication with drivers throughout the recruiting process - Work closely with management to identify and fill driver needs - Recruit for multiple load types and operational requirements - Stay current on DOT regulations and transportation industry requirements - Utilize recruiting systems, computers, and communication tools effectively

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of OTR/CDL driver recruiting experience
• Strong understanding of the trucking and transportation industry
• Proven ability to find and attract qualified drivers
• Experience with driver verification and background processes
• Comfortable speaking with drivers and representing the company at job fairs
• Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Greenville, SC

Compensation

$50,000-$65,000 DOE + BONUS FOR EVERY DRIVER HIRED
