Job summary

Eleven Western Builders seeks experienced carpenters who take pride in quality craftsmanship and safety. You will read plans and deliver interior finish scopes on retail construction and remodel projects.

You’ll perform millwork, cabinetry, fixtures, and décor installation, rough carpentry, drywall, and finish work, reading drawings to guide precise installations. This active retail environment demands attention to detail and professional workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience.
• Experience with retail, commercial, tenant improvement, or remodel construction preferred.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Able to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time, as schedules require.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Install millwork, cabinetry, fixtures, displays, and décor packages.
• Install wall panels, trim, doors, frames, hardware, and accessories.
• Rough carpentry, framing, backing, and blocking.
• Drywall installation, patching, and finishing.
• Interior finish work and general carpentry tasks.
• Layout and installation from drawings and project plans.
• Work with other trades to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll work on retail construction and remodel projects performing a variety of carpentry and interior finish scopes, including:

• Installation of millwork, cabinetry, fixtures, displays, and décor packages
• Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, frames, hardware, and accessories
• Rough carpentry, framing, backing, and blocking
• Drywall installation, patching, and finishing
• Interior finish work and general carpentry tasks
• Layout and installation from drawings and project plans
• Working alongside other trades to keep projects moving safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work area

Our projects are active retail environments, so attention to detail, professionalism, and quality workmanship are essential.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience

• Strong skills in rough carpentry, framing, drywall, finish carpentry, millwork, and fixture installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
