Eleven Western Builders, Inc. in California is seeking motivated entry-level Carpenters who want to learn the trade and build a long-term career in construction. You’ll gain hands-on experience on retail projects alongside seasoned carpenters.

You’ll train in framing, drywall, millwork, fixture installation, and finish carpentry while traveling to project locations within the Western U.S. The role offers competitive pay and benefits and a path to advance into lead carpenter responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time, as project schedules require.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork.
• Install wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories.
• Assist with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Learn to read plans, layouts, and project drawings.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Support project teams in active retail environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

As An Entry‑Level Carpenter, You’ll Work Alongside Experienced Carpenters And Foremen While Gaining Hands‑on Experience In a Variety Of Construction Scopes, Including

• Installation of retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork
• Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories
• Assisting with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing construction materials
• Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Learning to read plans, layouts, and project drawings
• Safely operating hand tools and power tools
• Supporting project teams in active retail environments
