Job summary

Eleven Western Builders is seeking motivated entry‑level Carpenters to learn the trade and build a long‑term career in construction across retail projects in California and the western United States.

You will work alongside experienced carpenters and foremen, gaining hands‑on experience in framing, drywall, millwork, and fixture installation, on challenging retail jobsites. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany growth opportunities.

• 1+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced carpenters and foremen on retail construction projects.
• Perform framing, drywall, millwork, fixture installation, and finish carpentry tasks.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and tools; maintain a safe work area.

What You’ll Be Doing

As An Entry‑Level Carpenter, You’ll Work Alongside Experienced Carpenters And Foremen While Gaining Hands‑on Experience In a Variety Of Construction Scopes, Including

• Installation of retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork
• Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories
• Assisting with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing construction materials
• Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Learning to read plans, layouts, and project drawings
• Safely operating hand tools and power tools
• Supporting project teams in active retail environments

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time, as project schedules require
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
