Job summary

Eleven Western Builders is seeking experienced carpenters for retail construction and remodel projects across the Western U.S. The team values safety, quality workmanship, and pride in doing precise carpentry work on fast-paced environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of carpentry experience, can read plans, and are prepared to travel to project sites for up to two weeks at a time as schedules require. Competitive pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience.
• Experience with retail, commercial, tenant improvement, or remodel construction preferred.
• Strong skills in rough carpentry, framing, drywall, finish carpentry, millwork, and fixture installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install millwork, cabinetry, fixtures, displays, and décor packages.
• Install wall panels, trim, doors, frames, hardware, and accessories.
• Perform rough carpentry, framing, backing, and blocking.
• Install drywall, patching, and finishing.
• Carry out interior finish work and general carpentry tasks.
• Layout and install from drawings and project plans.
• Collaborate with other trades to keep projects moving safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll work on retail construction and remodel projects performing a variety of carpentry and interior finish scopes, including:

• Installation of millwork, cabinetry, fixtures, displays, and décor packages
• Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, frames, hardware, and accessories
• Rough carpentry, framing, backing, and blocking
• Drywall installation, patching, and finishing
• Interior finish work and general carpentry tasks
• Layout and installation from drawings and project plans
• Working alongside other trades to keep projects moving safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work area

Our projects are active retail environments, so attention to detail, professionalism, and quality workmanship are essential.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
• Experience with retail, commercial, tenant improvement, or remodel construction preferred
• Strong skills in rough carpentry, framing, drywall, finish carpentry, millwork, and fixture installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time, as project schedules require
• Commitment to jobsite safety and producing quality work
