QXO is seeking a hands-on Carpenter to join a residential construction crew in Elgin, IL. You will measure, cut, assemble, and install components for new home construction, reading blueprints and ensuring quality on every project.

Responsibilities include using hand and power tools safely, collaborating with teammates, and maintaining a safe job site. This role is physical and outdoors/indoors as needed, with competitive hourly wages and benefits.

Formación

• Experience in carpentry or related trade.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction documents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related environments.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials as required (up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs).
• Ability to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environments, depending on the role.
