Position Overview
The preferred candidate will play a key role in executing high-caliber carpentry work on our projects. This role will also at times entail leading a crew on projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, finishing, cabinetry, and millwork, with a focus on precision, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Interpret and follow construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately execute design details and meet project requirements.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete carpentry tasks on schedule and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Lead a crew of carpenters and laborers as needed, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring efficient and effective project workflow.
  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and other team members to facilitate smooth project execution and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition, ensuring proper care, organization, and safety on job sites.
  • Enforce safety regulations and best practices, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among crew members.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work on construction projects.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools, with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to lead and supervise a crew of carpenters and laborers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse project teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
