You will work out of your home on your choice of a full time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Birmingham and nearby areas.

Experienced Carpenter / Handyman Qualifications:

1. Successful prior track record or experience with the following: Carpentry, Craftsman, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical
2. Estimation skills and prior home inspection experience, strongly preferred
3. Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing
4. Own truck van and set of tools to perform all of the above trades
5. Current and valid driver’s license
6. Residence within 40 miles of the city of Trussville
7. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
8. Strong documentation and invoicing skills
9. Professional appearance and demeanor

Experienced Carpenter / Handyman Duties:

1. Able to analyze a problem independently with strong problem-solving skills to determine a prompt solution
2. Prepare estimate on repairs along with timeline and budget to present to customer in a professional manner
3. Conduct repairs or complete projects in the trades of carpentry, tiling, drywall, plumbing and electrical work and other handyman work
4. Ability to effectively communicate with other craftsmen, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, commercial customers, and Ace Handyman Management regarding projects, timelines, and budgets
5. Must be able to manage project from start to finish and complete within estimate and/or budget
6. Must produce quality craftsmanship that delivers 100% customer satisfaction
