Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide companionship, daily living support, and personal care in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes safety, comfort, and respecting client needs, with a focus on building trust and reliable service.

Shifts include day, evening, overnight, and weekends. Applicants must provide proof of vaccination and meet the listed caregiving requirements; flexible scheduling and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and reliable transportation.
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate.
• Treat clients with kindness and respect.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with clients and keep them company.
• Help with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Support clients with walking and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands when needed.
• Follow the client’s care plan.
• Keep the office or family updated on any changes.
• Make clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

What You’ll Do

• Spend time with clients and keep them company
• Help with bathing, dressing, and personal care
• Support clients with walking and daily activities

• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with errands when needed
• Follow the client’s care plan
• Keep the office or family updated on any changes
• Most importantly, make clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
