Shepherd's Staff In-Home Care in Frederick, MD is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to deliver high-quality in-home support to seniors and adults in their own homes.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, ensure safety, and document care provided during each visit. Valid driver's license and current CPR certification preferred; willingness to obtain TB screening and pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Reliable, dependable, and committed to showing up on time for every scheduled shift.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain before employment.
• Current TB screening or willingness to obtain before employment.
• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, compassionate, client-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Prepare light meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders; CMTs may administer medications as assigned.
• Observe and report changes in clients' condition.
• Accurately document care provided during each visit.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands when required.

• CNA, GNA, or CMT certification
• Experience documenting care notes using a mobile app or electronic documentation system
