Job summary

Senior Helpers - Southern Maryland is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one care that helps seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes. You will build real relationships with clients and support their daily needs with compassion and reliability.

We offer flexible scheduling (Day, Weekend, Overnight, PRN/Fill-In), part-time opportunities (full-time possible, not guaranteed), mileage reimbursement, paid training at $15/hour, and core base pay: $16.00-$19.00/hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
• Negative TB test.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (with original documentation).

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one care that allows seniors to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Transportation to appointments and errands (as needed)
• Observing and reporting changes in condition

Caregivers can expect to work between 12-40 hours per week, with some availability on weekends and holidays preferred.
