Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax in Jacksonville, FL seeks compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team. This position requires Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse and a valid Driver License or State ID.

CPR certification, TB or Chest X-ray, and a letter of recommendation are required. You will provide personal care, prepare meals, run errands, accompany clients to appointments, and handle light

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate is required.
• CPR card is required and cannot be online.
• TB or Chest X-ray is required for clearance.
• Level 2 fingerprint background check is required.
• Alzheimer's, HIV and medication assistance CEU are preferred.
• 1 letter of recommendation is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist with daily living (hygiene, ambulation, dressing).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanies patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes, cleaning).
• Provides hospice supportive care and medication reminders.
• Assists with exercises and incontinence care; uses lifting equipment as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Personal care

• Companionship

Requirements:
