Job summary

Right at Home Palm Coast is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs in Florida to provide in-home care. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, with emphasis on dignity and safety.

You will support patients in their homes, manage medications reminders, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals. Training is provided, and scheduling is flexible to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate required.
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.).
• CPR card (in-person class).
• TB or Chest X-ray.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, ambulation, dressing).
• Performs light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dishes).
• Provides hospice supportive care and monitors medications reminders.
• Assists with exercises, lifts using gait belts or Hoyer lifts.
• Supports with meals, errands, and medical appointments.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Ambulation/Transfers
  • Dressing/Shaving
  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with exercises
  • Incontinence care
  • Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises

Requirements:
