Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) in Lake Worth, Florida. This role involves helping patients with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, with attention to safety and dignity.

Applicants must have a CNA license or HHA certificate (Palm Beach County badge required), a valid driver's license, background check, CPR, TB/chest X-ray, and the ability to travel between clients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, grooming)
• Performs ambulation/transfers and meal preparation
• Accompanies patients to appointments and runs errands
• Performs light housekeeping and laundry
• Provides hospice supportive care and medication reminders
• Assists with prescribed exercises and mobility aids
• Incontinence care and use of lifting equipment as needed

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
  
  • Personal Hygiene
• • Ambulation/Transfers
• • Dressing/Shaving
• • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
  
  • Medication reminders
• • Assisting with exercises
• • Incontinence care
• • Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
