Freedom Home Care, LLC in Owatonna, MN, is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care throughout Owatonna and surrounding communities. We offer part-time, full-time, and PRN opportunities with schedules that fit your availability.

We value dependable, patient caregivers who can follow care plans, provide personal care, and assist with mobility and daily activities. CNA is a plus but not required; travel within a 30-mile radius is expected.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Maintain auto insurance and acceptable driving record.
• Minnesota DHS background study and TB screening required.
• Willing to travel within a 30-mile service area.
• Experience preferred; CNA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Meal preparation and reminders for medications.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transportation and errands for clients.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and observe changes.
• Complete required care documentation.

• Faribault: - Awake Overnights: | 10:00 PM-7:00 AM

Albert Lea: Mondays & Thursdays | 1:00 PM-5:00 PM

Albert Lea - Awake Overnights: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays | 10:00 PM-7:00 AM

Elysian: Every other Friday | 5:30 PM-9:30 PM and every other weekend | Saturdays & Sundays, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM & 5:30 PM-9:30 PM

Weekend availability must include both split shifts.

Kenyon - PRN: Day shifts available

Additional shifts and opportunities may become available as new clients are added!

What You'll Do

Responsibilities are based on each client's individual care plan and may include:

• Dementia and memory-care support
• Safety supervision
• Completing required care documentation
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Helping clients maintain as much independence as possible

What We're Looking For

We're looking for caregivers who are:

• Able to follow an individualized care plan
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Freedom Home Care team

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required for all opportunities. CNA certification is a plus but is not required unless specified for a particular client assignment.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have their own reliable personal vehicle
• Maintain current auto insurance
• Meet Freedom Home Care's driving record requirements
• Successfully complete a Minnesota DHS background study
• Meet required TB screening requirements
• Be willing to travel to client homes within our service area, generally up to a 30-mile radius
• Be dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of assigned client care

A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and current auto insurance are required for this position.

Scheduling Opportunities

Because home care is based on individual client needs, schedules may include:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Awake overnight shifts
• 2-hour short shifts — $22/hr Monday-Friday and $24/hr Saturday & Sunday
• Split shifts
• PRN/fill-in opportunities

Available hours and schedules vary based on current client needs.
