Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate Caregivers/CNAs to support clients in New Hope and nearby areas. Join our team to provide essential in-home care, assist with daily activities, monitor health, and ensure comfort and safety in the home.

We offer overnight shifts, flexible 4-hour blocks, and competitive pay from $19 to $23 per hour, with PTO and 401(k) benefits. You’ll use a smartphone to view care plans, document tasks, communicate with the team, and coordinate rides as needed.

Qualifications

• Medication administration experience.
• Ability to read, comprehend and clearly speak English.
• Experience providing ADLs and mobility assistance.
• Ability to pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to drive as needed for client transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using Hoyer Lift or similar equipment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and assist with transportation to appointments.

As a Caregiver/ CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need.

We are urgently hiring overnight caregivers!

And we're looking for caregivers who are available between 9am-5pm or 5-9pm and willing to work 4-hour shifts.

Essential Duties:

• Assist male and female clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing/showering/sponge baths, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance/ incontinence
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including Hoyer Lift and EasyStand
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assistwith meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed
• Utilizeyour smart phone to send texts and emails and to download and use apps to view care plans and record tasks and to send texts and emails

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• Medication administration experience
• At least 2 years' experience as a Caregiver/ CNA for adults in in‑home care, long‑term care, assisted living, dementia care, nursing homes and/or hospice performing the full‑range of personal caregiving skills including bathing/showering/sponge baths, gait belt and Hoyer Lift transfers, toileting assistance, dressing/grooming, bedbound care, and dementia care
• Valid Driver’s License and active Auto Insurance
• Able to pass a background check
• Willing to drive personal vehicle for client transportation
• Willing to do personal cares for males and females
• Capableoflifting upto 25 pounds
• Ability to read, comprehend and clearly speak English
• Possess and use a smartphone, which includes sending texts and emails, downloading and using Apps, and completing online training
• Able to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervision
• High moral standards of honesty and integrity
• Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record check, reference checks, and TB screening
• Engage clients in activities of interest
• Follow care plans and accurately document tasks
• If nearby shifts aren't available, be willing to drive up to 25 miles to a shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Caregiving experience with Hospice clients
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with client rights and home care practices
