We are seeking experienced Accounts Receivable Collection specialists to join our team. The role involves managing collection processes for TDD services, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance companies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years healthcare industry experience
• 3-5 years medical billing and collections experience
• Experience in Home Infusion or Intrathecal Pain Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Support patient rights and confidentiality
• Follow up on invoices for prompt payment
• Evaluate payments and denials for correctness
• Manage bad debt write-offs and adjustments
• Investigate overpayments and duplicate payments
• Process refunds per policies
• Coordinate with departments for claim information
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Troubleshoot payment discrepancies
• Document all calls and interactions
• Maximize claim reimbursements
• Resolve denials within 5 days
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• Maintain knowledge of NDC, infusion supplies, insurance plans, medical terminology, and codes
• Share knowledge and work collaboratively
• Perform other duties as assigned
