We seek experienced Accounts Receivable Collection experts to join our dynamic team. The role involves managing collection processes for TDD services, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and billing issue resolution with insurance companies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3-5 years of medical billing and collections experience.
• Experience in Home Infusion or Intrathecal Pain Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
• Follow up on invoices for prompt payment, escalate issues.
• Evaluate payments and denials, apply correctly.
• Identify bad debts, initiate write-offs and adjustments.
• Investigate overpayments and duplicate payments.
• Process refunds per policies.
• Coordinate with departments for claim information.
• Comply with regulatory procedures and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot payment discrepancies, document calls.
• Maximize claim reimbursement, resolve denials within 5 days.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of NDC, infusion supplies, insurance plans, medical terminology, billing, regulations, and codes.
• Share knowledge, work as a team, interact positively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
