We are looking for experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Collection experts to join our team. This full-time role involves managing collection processes for TDD services, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance companies or responsible parties. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of billing and collection practices.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of healthcare industry experience required.
• 3-5 years of medical billing and collections experience required.
• Experience with Home Infusion or Intrathecal Pain Management is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Respect patient rights and confidentiality.
• Follow up on invoices for prompt payment, escalate issues as needed.
• Evaluate payments and denials, ensure correct application.
• Identify bad debt write-offs and A/R adjustments, initiate as per policies.
• Investigate overpayments or duplicate payments and resolve.
• Process refund requests according to policies.
• Coordinate with other departments for claim information.
• Understand regulatory procedures.
• Ensure collection activities comply with federal, state, and payer regulations.
• Troubleshoot payment discrepancies and document calls thoroughly.
• Maximize claim reimbursement opportunities.
• Resolve denial issues within 5 days.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Understand NDC numbers, infusion supplies, and medical codes.
• Share knowledge and work collaboratively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
