Job summary

Golden Star Technology Inc. (GST) is seeking an experienced AV Field Cabling Installer to join our San Diego team. This hands-on role supports audiovisual (AV) and technology installations in a variety of environments.

As part of GST, you will perform structured cabling, install displays, projectors, and AV racks; troubleshoot equipment; and ensure high quality, on-time delivery while maintaining a professional presence on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AV installation or structured cabling.
• Experience with commercial AV systems and installation best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV systems including displays, projectors, video conferencing, and AV racks.
• Perform structured cabling, cable pulls, terminations, and labeling for low-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot and test AV equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist with system layout, installation planning, and job site preparation.
• Load and update AV control system software as required.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence onsite.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
