Job summary

Danbury Automotive Group is seeking experienced automotive technicians at all levels A, B and C to join our busy shop. You will perform repairs, diagnose systems, and drive vehicles for testing while coordinating with the Service Advisor on timelines and costs.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are preferred for technicians.
• FCA/Stellantis Certification preferred.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional needed repairs and estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and warranty where applicable.

Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Experienced Automotive Technician Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• FCA/Stellantis Certification Preferred
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
• Must have clean and valid driver's license
