Job summary

Danbury Automotive Group is seeking experienced automotive technicians at all levels A, B and C to join our busy service department in Danbury, CT. We offer a productive shop, fair work distribution, and a safe, clean environment with opportunities to learn and advance.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred; FCA/Stellantis certification preferred.
• Strong automotive background and teamwork skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check; clean driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work efficiently on the repair order per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specs.

Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Experienced Automotive Technician Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• FCA/Stellantis Certification Preferred
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
• Must have clean and valid driver's license
