Job summary

Danbury Automotive Group is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians at all levels. We offer a productive shop with fair work distribution and a safe working environment. Our technicians will receive benefits such as Anthem Blue Cross Medical and MetLife vision and dental.

The role includes diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems and communicating with the Service Advisor. ASE certifications are ideal, and we reward hard work through career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Experienced Automotive Technician Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• FCA/Stellantis Certification Preferred
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
• Must have clean and valid driver's license
