Terrychapinnissan is seeking automotive service technicians to support a growing service department. The role offers an hourly wage up to $45 depending on experience, with a potential bonus up to $7,500 for Master Flat Tech based on experience.

Formación

• Nissan experience preferred.
• Ability to identify the problem quickly.
• Good knowledge of automobiles.
• Effective analytical and communication skills.
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems. Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about any additional service needed and provide time estimates for further repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership – familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures
• Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems. Know how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

• Minimum of 2 years in service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Pass a Background, Drug and MVR Check
