Job summary

Nissan of Cumming is seeking certified Express Technicians to join its skilled service team in a temperature-controlled shop. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, work with diagnostic tools, and collaborate with the Service Advisor to inform customers about needed services and estimates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to thrive in a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute repair orders efficiently and to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Maintain and repair engines, electrical systems, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services and estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Execute work specified on repair orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services needed, providing estimates and video's for extra repairs.
• Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One year or more of experience in basic car care is helpful but not required.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a desire to build long-term trust and relationships with customers.
• Willingness to work Saturdays.
