Job summary

Hansel Auto Group in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking motivated Service Technicians to join our new Mazda store. This is a ground-floor opportunity with a stable automotive group that operates 9 dealerships and multiple brands.

You will examine vehicles, identify repairs, estimate costs, perform services, document work, and maintain a safe, organized shop. Mazda certification is a big plus; ASE certification is valued, as is a clean California license.

Qualifications

• Multiple years' experience as an automotive technician.
• Mazda Certified Technician is a huge plus.
• ASE Certificate.
• Provide a clean and valid California license.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety focused.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass a drug test.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines customer vehicles.
• Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Estimates cost of repairs.
• Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Documents services performed.
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.

Service Technician Responsibilities

• Examines customer vehicles
• Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Estimates cost of repairs
• Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Documents services performed
• Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
• Great working demeanor with co-workers
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties

Pay Scale

Base Hourly Compensation of $33.80. Production bonus may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
