Job summary

Johnson City Acura seeks a Mazda Service Technician with a strong service background and ASE certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing repairs on repair orders, testing vehicles, and performing maintenance on engine, electrical, and other systems.

You will work closely with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needs and provide time estimates. 4+ years of technician experience preferred; a tech school graduate with ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; tech school graduate preferred.
• ASE certification a plus; strong diagnostic skills expected.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose repairs using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose/maintain/repair engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, A/C.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mazda Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background andASE certified. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership


• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment


• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs


• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Service Technician experience preferred


• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification a plus


• A level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair


• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination


• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment


• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies


• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve


• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment


• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively


• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record


• $ 1000.00 SIGN ON BONUS (details given at the time of job offer)
