Lou Fusz Kia of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive technician required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Kia experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and brake systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic scan tools and service information systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles and other makes and models.
• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend needed maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair status and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
• Stay current on Kia technical training and new vehicle technology.
