Lou Fusz Kia Terre Haute is seeking an experienced Main Line Technician to join our service team in Terre Haute, IN. This role offers a stable career path with an hourly bonus structure and a collaborative, family‑owned dealership culture.

The position emphasizes performing repairs, testing systems, and ensuring quality workmanship while communicating with service staff and customers about needed work and timelines. ASE certification is a plus, and a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed repairs and provide time estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
