Job summary

Lou Fusz Kia Terre Haute is seeking a skilled Main Line Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and test automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and AC, communicating with advisors on timelines and estimates.

The ideal candidate has strong automotive background, ASE certifications are ideal, and a clean, valid driver's license. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required. Join a family-owned network focused on growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components with diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, braking, electrical, steering, and A/C systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Experience Required
• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
