Mercedes-Benz of Thousand Oaks is seeking a qualified luxury automotive technician with Mercedes-Benz experience. You will diagnose and repair a full range of systems, perform multi-point inspections, and communicate findings clearly to service advisors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dealership technician experience.
• ASE certifications are a strong plus.
• Mercedes-Benz factory certifications highly valued but not required.
• Comfortable with dealer diagnostic platforms: XENTRY, STAR or equivalent.
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles across systems using Mercedes-Benz diagnostic platforms and OEM procedures.
• Perform multi-point inspections and develop repair plans; communicate findings to service advisors.
• Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications with speed and accuracy; document work and parts used.
• Stay current on Mercedes-Benz service bulletins, software updates, and procedures.
• Perform test drives to validate diagnostics and repair quality.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair vehicles across a full range of systems -- engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and beyond -- using Mercedes-Benz diagnostic platforms and OEM procedures
• Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans -- communicating findings clearly to service advisors to support guest authorization
• Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications with speed, accuracy, and zero shortcuts
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently -- documenting all work performed and parts used with precision
• Stay current on Mercedes-Benz technical service bulletins, software updates, and evolving repair procedures
• Perform test drives to validate diagnostic conclusions and confirm repair quality before vehicle return
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation that reflects the standard of the Mercedes-Benz brand
• Contribute to a shop culture where quality, accountability, and craftsmanship are the baseline

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of dealership technician experience -- luxury brand experience welcome from any premium marque including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Volvo, Land Rover, or similar
• Strong diagnostic foundation -- able to work through multi-system problems methodically and accurately
• ASE certifications a strong plus -- Mercedes-Benz factory certifications highly valued but not required
• Comfortable with dealer diagnostic platforms -- XENTRY, STAR, or equivalent luxury brand diagnostic experience considered
• Low comeback rate and a personal standard for quality that doesn't require managing
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the role -- lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A craftsmanship mindset -- you take pride in every repair that leaves your bay
