Job summary

Platinum Ford in Terrell, TX is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy dealership team. You will greet customers, document service needs, manage repair orders, and communicate repair status from write-up to delivery.

Applicants must have dealership experience; Ford experience is a strong plus. You should be capable of selling maintenance and repairs, explaining technical details clearly, and building long-lasting customer relationships while maintaining high CSI.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming service experience.

• Review vehicle history and identify maintenance opportunities.
• Present technician recommendations clearly and confidently.
• Sell needed repairs, maintenance, alignments, and additional services.
• Provide accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process.
• Set realistic expectations for repair costs and completion times.
• Work with technicians, Parts, and Service management to keep repairs moving.
• Follow up on declined services and future maintenance needs.
• Keep customers informed of delays, backordered parts, or changes in repair status.
• Review completed repairs and invoices with customers at delivery.
• Build long-term customer relationships that drive retention and repeat business.
• Maintain strong CSI and customer satisfaction.

Platinum Ford is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

We're looking for a proven Service Advisor who knows how to take care of customers, communicate effectively, sell needed maintenance and repairs, and keep the repair process moving from write-up through delivery.

Previous dealership Service Advisor experience is required. Ford experience is a strong plus, but not required.

What You'll Do

We're Looking for an Advisor Who Knows the Business

This is not an entry-level Service Advisor position.

We're looking for someone who already understands the service drive and can effectively manage customers, technicians, repair orders, sales opportunities, and follow-up in a busy dealership environment.

You don't have to come from a Ford store. If you're an experienced dealership Service Advisor with a proven track record, we want to talk to you. Ford experience is a bonus.
