Qualifications

• Formal documented training and a minimum of five years of Painter, Automotive experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to climb in/out of military vehicles and endure long hours in various conditions.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain licenses on military vehicles.
• Must pass a background check and may require security clearance.
• Must meet Safety and OSHA Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Paint surfaces of motor vehicles using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Mask areas not to be painted and prepare surfaces with sandpaper or steel wool.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain painting equipment and work areas.
• Work in varying weather conditions and in cramped spaces as required.
