Job summary

Safelite Group in Portland, OR seeks an Experienced Auto Glass Technician to repair, replace and recalibrate glass for customers in shop or mobile settings. You will work with Safelite training, use True Seal, Ezi-Wire, GTS and MRMs, and deliver safe, high-quality service with strong customer interaction.

You'll lift up to 50 pounds, pass Safelite SafeTech certification, hold a valid driver's license, and meet the demand of variable schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• Safelite SafeTech certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and customer service.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
• Operate Safelite tools and technologies (True Seal, Ezi-Wire, GTS, MRM) and safety equipment.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles; maintain professional appearance and PPE.
• Communicate with customers in-person, via text, and by phone; promote Safelite services and products.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.
