What is the Position?

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Associate for its new Transportation and Logistics team located in Richmond, VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

Evercore's unique market position provides Associates with the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion dollar transactions in markets around the world. The small transaction team structure provides the Associate with a strong platform to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of the individual’s career.

Specific Qualifications:

The Associate will be ambitious, self-directed and resourceful. The candidate will be passionately interested in finance, intellectually curious and eager to learn. We are seeking an academically accomplished candidate with the ability to multitask. This position comes with challenging work and a demanding environment in a rapidly growing firm. The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant investment banking work experience (including internships), with the intention to remain in investment banking for at least 2 more years
• An excellent, team-based attitude
• Relentless work ethic and high energy level
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously

Expected Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $250,000
