Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt screed to apply asphalt per plan and quality specifications as instructed by crew superintendent.
• Learn to operate or take initiative to operate other equipment on the asphalt crew.
• Operate asphalt paver/screed within designated area with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Control movements of machine to spread and level asphalt on subgrade of highways, parking lots, and related surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Foreman and Superintendent.
