Job summary

Gray & Son Inc. in Norris City, IL seeks an experienced loader operator to run a large rubber tire loader in an asphalt production and crushing facility, including nights and weekends.

You will communicate by radio with plant operators and yard personnel while moving materials and loading trucks. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, monitoring stockpiles, assisting with plant operations, and keeping work areas clear and safe.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Three to five years heavy equipment operation experience.
• Background in road, general construction, or asphalt plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a large rubber tire loader in an asphalt production and crushing facility, including some nights and weekends.
• Communicate by radio with plant operators and yard personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the loader.
• Move finished product onto stockpiles and load trucks.
• Assist with asphalt production plant operations and ensure stockpiles are kept level and safe.
