Job summary

Rush Truck Leasing seeks a Collections Administrator to support the Collections Coordinator with internal and IBS accounts. You will help manage daily AR tasks across our North American network and assist in timely collections and reporting.

The role requires 1–2 years in credit/collections, solid MS Office skills, and a valid driver’s license; SAP knowledge is a plus. This position offers opportunities for growth within a market-leading transportation solutions provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Credit/collection and accounts receivables experience preferred.
• Valid driver license with insurability.
• Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel; SAP a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Check receivables run daily and monitor invoice clearing.
• Follow up with calls on AR accounts and keep them up to date.
• Assist in collection on past due accounts.
• Communicate with Collections Coordinator or Credit Manager on receivables issues.
• Prepare collections reports monthly with aged debt emphasis.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Liaise with customers, sales staff and management to build relationships.
• Support continuous improvement projects in collections.
• Verify and post details of transactions; research discrepancies.
• Contact delinquent customers to determine reasons for overdue payments.
• Audit delinquents before bad-debt status and report findings.
• Review reports to evaluate effectiveness of collection policies.
